Energy efficiency grants for small businesses

Up to 8,000 eligible South Australian small businesses and not-for-profit organisations will soon be able to apply for Small Business Energy Grants, with $20 million available through the second round of the Economic Recovery Fund announced in the 2024-25 State Budget. 

The program provides between $2,500 and $50,000 matched dollar for dollar by the business, for energy efficient equipment or other improvements that reduce and manage energy usage and energy costs. 

Opening in August 2024 and administered by the Office for Small and Family Business, funding will be provided on a first-served basis until the allocation has been exhausted.
