Expanded Grassroots Grant Program

Included in this year's State Budget is $25 million for an expanded Grassroots Grants Program and $10 million for a Regional Facilities Program. 

Our new Grassroots Program includes all sports, not just footy, cricket and netball and it also has an increased budget - worth $25 million over the next two years. 

A $10 million Regional Facilities Program, split over the next two years, offers the chance for more regional facility level projects to get off the ground faster. 

Both of these programs will assist sporting organisations to develop core infrastructure and community hubs that directly impact participation through the rational development of well-designed and utilised facilities.
