Have Your Say - default speed limits for regional roads

The Federal Government is currently seeking feedback on a proposal to reduce the default speed limit on roads outside of built-up areas where there are no sign-posted speed limits. 

This consultation will especially impact rural areas such as ours and includes a change in the default speed limit on unsealed roads.

The deadline is 10 November and I encourage the lodging of a submission; my concerns include consequences for farmers and transport efficiencies/productivity.
