Native Vegetation Council has two grant opportunities for landowners in SA – the Nature Restoration Grant and the Heritage Agreement Incentive Grant.
Nature Restoration Grants
The grants are for large impact, longer term (5 – 10 year) projects that will provide a significant benefit to native vegetation by improving condition and increasing protection through a new Heritage Agreement. Round 3 is open to landowners in the regions listed below with the following funding available:
• Northern and Yorke – $3.7 million
• Hills and Fleurieu – $2.8 million
• Eyre Peninsula – $1.5 million
• South Australian Arid Lands – $1.1 million
The closing date for grant applications is 7pm, Saturday 8 November 2025.
Heritage Agreement Incentive Grants
The grants are for shorter term projects between 1 – 5 years that will enhance native vegetation and increase protection through a new Heritage Agreement. Applications are open to landholders across South Australia until 30 June 2026, but early enquiries and applications are encouraged.
Please read the grant guides and information available on the Departments website.
