Projects - Public Art and Design

This grant opened today (closing 10 October 2022) and supports the concept development and commissioning of small-scale public art projects by professional practicing South Australian artists. 

Projects may be functional or non-functional, permanent or temporary and up to $15,000 is available per project. 

Successful applicants will be notified by 16 December and the funded activity must commence by 19 December 2022. 

Who can apply: local government, State Government departments and agencies and statutory authorities, organisations and community groups (individual artists not eligible). 

Funds can be used for artist, mentor or mentee fees, artist commissioning fees, concept proposal fees for selected artists/artist teams, travel, costs directly arising from the involvement of the artist/s.
