Regional Growth Fund 2020-21

The Regional Growth Fund is provided with $25 million in the State Budget 2020-21 including an extra $10 million on top of the special one-off $15 million stimulus round to support the economic recovery of regional areas in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Regional Growth Fund has been established to unlock new economic activity in our regions, deliver critical economic infrastructure to create direct benefit across regional industries, and strengthen regional communities. 

This year $25 million has been allocated for the fund.

The competitive grants new round is not yet open. However, strategic regional growth projects are open year-round for applications.
