SA Car Club Program Grants

The State Government committed $2 million over four years from 2022-23 to establish the SA Car Club Program (SACCP)--the first dedicated grant program to support car and motorcycle clubs within SA. 

This program opened on 30 September and closes at midday on 13 December 2024, and aims to support community SA car and motorcycle clubs to build capacity, increase participation and better meet growing operating costs.

The total budget for SACCP each year is $500,000 with $200,000 under a "Program, equipment and operational stream", $100,000 for "Events and Activities" and $200,000 under a "Infrastructure stream". 

To be eligible, organisations must be a  not-for-profit car or motorcycle club or federation incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act 1985 (SA), be located within SA and have been operating for 12 months or longer. 

Examples of what funding can be used for includes safety and operational equipment, tools and machinery purchases, storage, event infrastructure, promotional materials, website designs and updates, and training for officials.
