Each year, the Department of Human Services provides grants for Councils and not-for-profit organisations to host events that celebrate and recognise the value of young people within their communities during SA Youth Week.SA Youth Week 2026
In 2026, SA Youth Week will be held from 9 to 17 April, and organisations can apply for grants up to $2,500 each.
The grants will support organisations working directly with young people to host accessible, youth-led events that celebrate young people and youth culture.
Organisations need to match grant funding, either dollar for dollar, through in-kind support, or a combination of both.
An in-kind contribution is a contribution of a good or service other than money (example, staff hours or voluntary labour, donated goods and donated services.
A free online grant information session for organisations seeking further information will be held on 23 October 2025.
