The Power of Her - Infrastructure and Participation Program opens

The 2024-25 round of the Power of Her - Infrastructure and Participation Program opened on Saturday 28 September, and will close Wednesday 27 November 2024. 

This is the State Government's dedicated female grant program to support girls and women's participation within sport in South Australia. 

Program and equipment projects are expected to commence within six months from payment of the grant. 

There are two funding streams - Infrastructure; and Program and Equipment. 

Additionally, for both categories there is a separate stream for soccer from other sports:

• Infrastructure Stream - $4,249,000 for Football (Soccer) and $2.800,000 for Other sports
• Program and Equipment - $300,000 for Football (Soccer) and $200,000 for Other Sport

Eligible applicants may submit applications for multiple streams. 

The infrastructure stream funds the development of functional, inclusive and fit for-purpose female friendly facilities that meet the current and future needs of the SA community.

The program and equipment stream funds initiatives that promote gender equality and support female participation through inclusive practices and enhanced opportunities.
