Active Club Program open

Recreation and sports clubs can now apply for up to $3,000 for funding of programs and equipment through Round 51 of the Active Club Program that is now open until midday Wednesday 15 March 2023.

To be eligible, applicants must be an incorporated not for profit active recreation or sport club or community organisation which delivers active recreation or sport programs and services in South Australia; be operating for 12 months or longer; and have a minimum total membership base of 20 members. 

For eligible applicants with less than 100 members the maximum grant available will be $1,500 and for applicants with 100 or more members the maximum grant available will be $3,000.

Local councils and schools are not eligible to apply.

Examples of projects include sporting and fishing equipment, uniforms and protective gear, coaching development, medical training or equipment (defibrillators, tape, first aid, transportable weather protection), club promotion (websites, social media, print media), hardship subsidies (to assist members experiencing hardship to participate), technological equipment (score boards, community, cashless payment devices) and venue maintenance (line marking, grass lawn mower).

Ineligible projects include operating costs, white goods, furniture, non-essential technology (laptops, computers, printers etc), trophies/prizes, and capital works.
