Grants for Seniors and Age Friendly

The Office for Ageing Well Community Grants program opens tomorrow, 11 November 2022, with $600,000 available to assist local organisations to support older South Australians to age well through activities that develop positive attitudes towards ageing and older people. 

There are three grants streams:

Grants for Seniors - offers grants from $5,000 to $10,000 for organisations to provide materials and activities for older South Australians to help reduce social isolation and contribute to wellbeing

Positive Ageing Fellowship Grants - provide up to $40,000 for capability building projects to support older South Australians to age well and be recognised for their valuable contributions across their lifetime. The program includes access to coaching and mentoring from The Australian Centre for Social Innovation for successful grant recipients. 

Age Friendly SA Grants - provide up to $40,000 for single local government (or equivalent organisations) and up to $60,000 for regional partnerships of three or more local governments (or equivalent organisations) for projects that align with the priorities of the Age Friendly SA Strategy. 

Applications open on 11 November 2022 and close on Friday 10 February 2023 at 5 pm.
