Grassroots Grants funding is provided by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board to help communities sustainably manage our region's precious landscapes.
Each year, funding is available for projects valued greater than $1,000 and up to $10,000 (+ GST). It is awarded on a competitive basis to projects that demonstrate the best value for money and deliver outcomes that address the key priorities in the Northern and Yorke Landscape Plan.
The Grassroots Grants 2023-2024 application process is now open and closes at 5pm on Monday, 8 May 2023.
This year's funding pool is $250,000 with grants available for on-ground activities such as weed control, revegetation, watercourse restoration, community education, erosion and pest management. $200,000 is available for general projects and a further $50,000 is available for First Nations-led projects where the applicant is a First Nations person, organisation or business.
