Local food businesses, including community club canteens and kitchens, are advised that a new national Food Safety Standard comes into effect Friday, 8 December 2023.
If you have a food business in South Australia, you must implement up to three food safety management tools based on your food handling activities and the category your business falls under.
Food safety tools include: food handler training, appointing a food safety supervisor and demonstrating safe food handling practices.
