Eligible sporting clubs and organisations can now apply for up to $3,000 for funding of programs and equipment through Round 50 of the Active Club Program.
This round is designed to continue to help the sport sector rebuild following the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions. Funds may be used to acquit various costs such as hand sanitiser, face masks and COVID Marshal vests.
The program also funds sporting equipment, uniforms and protective gear, scoring equipment, venue maintenance equipment, club promotion activities, medical training and coaching courses.
Not-for-profit active recreation, sport and community clubs with a minimum total membership base of 20 members are eligible to apply.
For clubs with 99 members or less, the maximum grant available is $1,500; for eligible applicants with 100 or more members the maximum grant available is $3,000.
