Today (Monday, 29 June) marks the beginning of Step Three in the State Government's plan for easing business restrictions.
This step allows for the re-introduction of most activities in venues where a 1 person per 2 square metre rule can be accommodated.
For more information information on business restrictions in South Australia, see the Roadmap to Recovery website.
New protocol for travellers:
From Wednesday 1 July, each person entering South Australia will be required to pre-apply online for permission to cross the border, obtaining a unique token to show border control officers upon entering the state.
The online process, which aims to simplify border crossings and ensure travellers meet the necessary criteria before reaching the border, will be launched in the coming days.
It will apply to essential travellers, anyone entering from low transmission states and territories or wishing to apply for any other exemption.
