A $180,000 State Government grant fund to support the mental health and wellbeing of young South Australians opened yesterday, 30 November 2023.
The grant round, via the Department of Human Services, seeks to increase support for young South Australians through community-based and non-clinical initiatives, with consideration being given to initiatives targeting regional and remote locations.
Eligible applicants include local councils, community groups and non-government organisations, with one-off grants of up to $15,000 available for projects which work directly with young people (12-25 years) in both metropolitan and regional South Australia, to build resilience and mental well being.
Applications close on 5 February 2024.
